The garden will be viewed from a raised decking platform that will be covered by a wooden Pergola with an angled roof. The raised decking platform will be surrounded by sun loving vibrant planting. The angled roof of the Pergola allows rain to be channelled down into a stream that will flow into a wildlife pond, which in turn over flows to create a damp shady planting area.

To the side of the wildlife pond there will be Japanese style planting with a Weeping Acer as the main feature.

To the other side of the wildlife pond there will be another smaller raised decking area. This will be connected to the first decking area via a bark pathway.

Behind the second decking area will be meadow themed planting with a native feature tree surrounded by a Fagus sylvatica hedge.

The planting list included:

Vibrant planting: sun-loving plants all vibrant in colour – reds / yellows / oranges mixed with ornamental grasses to give an upbeat mood to the main seating area.
Meadow planting: calmer colour palette i.e. pastel shades and whites to give a more relaxed feel to the second seating area. Situated adjacent to the wildlife pond, this will complete the tranquil feel to this area of the garden.
Japanese planting: Feature weeping Acer under planted with a selection of Pinus.
Shady planting: mixture of damp / shade loving plants i.e. Hostas, Ferns and Astilbe. Hakonechloa macra, ornamental grass, will add movement to the area. Dicksonia antarctica will add height and interest to this area.
