Royal Norfolk Show 2025 - Gold Award

A contemporary style garden characterised by clean lines and symmetry

Primarily designed to be enjoyed from the front, the garden featured an inviting seating area at the entrance, where visitors were welcomed into the space. A central path elegantly crossed a contemporary pond, guiding the eye and leading to a second seating area tucked into the top corner. A striking metal pergola sheltered this more secluded spot, while galvanised steel planters added a modern architectural touch.

Two main planting areas were positioned diagonally opposite the seating zones, each anchored by a sculptural multi-stemmed tree to provide height and year-round interest. These were underplanted with swathes of ornamental grasses and carefully selected perennials to create a soft, textural contrast against the garden’s clean lines.

Flanking the pond, a pair of Fusion Vortex water features brought movement and gentle sound to the space, enhancing its contemporary atmosphere. The aquatic plants within the pond were chosen to echo the refined planting style used throughout the design, creating a harmonious flow from water to border.

Minimal, curated planting and a restrained colour palette kept the garden feeling uncluttered and sophisticated, perfectly complementing its modern aesthetic.

We were proud to be awarded the Gold Award for this garden at the Royal Norfolk Show.
